RMS took the opportunity to commemorate the centenary of Armistice Day by helping the local Historical Society and Church of Ireland. Inspired by the 'Roll of Honour' in Kilbroney Parish Church which lists all the residents of Kilbroney parish, from every faith who served in the First World War, we embarked on work to mark their service

Inspired by the 'Roll of Honour' in Kilbroney Parish Church which lists all the residents of Kilbroney parish, from every faith who served in the First World War, we embarked on work to mark their service on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the ending of World War One.

Each year we undertake a cleanup of our beautiful Fairy Glen. It’s shocking and sad to see what people do to our environment.
This is when we get our waders on and clean the river and riverbanks of rubbish.

Each year Darkness into Light hold a twilight 5k walk raising vital funds for Pieta.
Pieta provide free, accessible support to people affected by suicide.
Rostrevor Men’s Shed support this event by providing marshalling services to maintain the safety of all participant.
